Have you ever travelled to a foreign country with many stray dogs and wondered what you could do to help? Or felt guilty that so many dogs are in need, but you feel unable to help? We’ve all been there. The Guilty Traveller’s Fund is the solution.
Why give?
The most direct way to help the most dogs in need is to donate to local shelters that are set up to assist stray dogs in that area, who, with funds, will be able to help feed and shelter as many dogs as possible.
Sometimes the idea of finding a reliable local shelter to donate to is too much work. Or maybe it hasn't crossed your mind. Either way, we are here to help.

Donate here and state what country or city you would like to donate to, and we will do the research to find a reliable local shelter best positioned to help as many dogs as possible, and send them the money.
That’s it, no string, no catches, no money taken off the top. Just as many dogs helped as possible and you can go home knowing you’ve helped better the lives of countless animals in need., and left the country you visited a better place.

No, 100% of your money will go to a recognised rescue organisation in the region of your choosing.

We have relationships with many established and reliable rescue organisations internationally. However, if you would like your funds to cover a region in which we have not yet established connections, we will research the organisations there and ensure that your money goes to one that is legitimate and humane.

Good question! If you provide your email address above, we will email you proof of payment from us to the chosen rescue organisation in the full amount donated by you.

Absolutely! If you know of an organisation you would like to donate to, or a specific cause you would like to donate to (such as disabled rescue dogs, etc.) then pop that in the "Message to the Organisation" section and we will accommodate your wishes!
